Picture of the Month, March 2000 ![]() This time it's Høka tramcar no. 212. Here it is at Ljabru as line 19 heading for Jar with one-man operation. The tramcar was put into service on January 30th, 1953, then with the classification MBO 50. Later it got the classification SM53 I. The tramcar was rebuilt to one-man operation in December 1982, and it was taken out of service on June 22nd, 1993. The Høka tramcars were built by Hønefoss Karosserifabrikk during the periods 1952-53 and 1957-58. Some boggies and all electrical equipment were delivered by Hägglund & Söner in Örnsköldsvik. The tramcars are 14.7 metres long, 2,5 metres wide, weigh 16.9 tons, have MBL10 type motors with an effect of 4x 45,6 kW, main current controller and resistance og resistance switch with 24 steps.
