In 1939 AS Holmenkolbanen put three new articulated motor cars into service, no. 501-503. They were built after the same principle as no. 113-114 and Bærumsbanen's C class cars. However, the 500 class cars had two bodies built on three bogies. The midle bogie was joint by both bodies. No. 501-503 were built by Skabo with electrical equipment from NEBB, had 118 seats and space for 150 people standing. The motor effect was 6x 71 kW. The cars were discarded in 1986 and 1993.

On the picture above is no. 503 near Frøen. No. 501 is preserved, while no. 502 and 503 are scrapped.
