Ekebergbanen class 1941 motorcars were built at their own workshop between 1941 and 1952. They had bodies of steel, delivered by Kværner Brug, covered by plates, and bogies and equipment from discarded 1920 class motorcars. They were 14,9 metres long, 2,5 metres wide, weighted 23,0 metric tons and produced an effect of 4x 50 kW.

No. 1023 was the last one of this class, and was put into service in 1952. The bogies and eqipment to no. 1023 came from the discarded 1920 class motorcar no. 1012. No. 1023 was discarded on September 29th, 1974 and scrapped in 1976. Here it is photographed on the single track between Ljabru and Sæter.
