Getting here
The Oslo Transport Museum is located in Gardeveien 15 at Majorstuen in Oslo, Norway. Take the underground main line; tram or bus to the stop Majorstuen. Follow the single track from the intersection at the tramstop into Valkyriegata and Harald Hårfagres gate, which leads to the rear end of the museum (the main public entrance being on the other side od the building). There is very limited parking available.

Majorstuen Ring
We operate historic trams on Oslo’s network on every first Sunday of the month. The historic tram usually departs from Stortorvet (in the loop across the square) at 12:00, 13:00 and 14:00 towards Majorstuen, where you can visit the Oslo Transport Museum. Days of operation can be found in the programme (in Norwegian).

Motorcar no. 70 and trailer no. 647 from 1913 are regular participants on Majorstuen Ring. The tram stops at all tram stops along the line.

Please note that the historic tram may be cancelled on short notice due to technical issues or lack of personnel. We do our best to avoid cancellations.

Bussringen
Bussringen is our guided bus ride on the historical bus line Bussringen in Oslo. The tour is operated on announced days during the summer season from Oslo Transport Museum at Majorstuen. The tour is run during the opening times of the museum, and is included in the museum ticket. By high demand is «first come first served» to gain a seat on the bus ride. The tour takes about an hour. The guiding is only in Norwegian. Days of operation can be found in the program (in Norwegian).
